about

"Darling Take My Hand" is the Power Pop/Folk Rock equivalent of a 19th century Romantic poem. Punctuated by jangling 12 string guitars and sparkling Wurlitzer keys, this is the best 60's ballad that never was.

lyrics

I've heard love comes on like a hurricane
It's driven greater people to go insane
But I disagree
It doesn't seem to be that for me

I don't think that this feeling is fleeting
Heavy, it seems, is the heart that is beating
There must be something up above
So darling take my hand
Lead me to the promised land of love

Love's a harsh and evil temptress
It's a whirlwind and a tempest
Our so I've heard it said
In the poems that reside in my head

I don't think that this feeling is fleeting
Heavy, it seems, is the heart that is beating
There must be something up above
So darling take my hand
Lead me to the promised land of love
